Good Together
In 2006, Steffi and Chad Doucette met for the first time on the fourth season of the hit reality television competition Canadian Idol.
After competing and performing in front of millions every week for several months, Steffi made it to the Top 5 and Chad made it all the way to the Top 4. It was five years later, in March of 2011, that Steffi and Chad decided to start a dynamic folk/pop duo that they would go on to call “Good Together”.
With Steffi D on vocals, glockenspiel, tambourine and shaker and Chad Doucette on guitar, harmonica, kazoo and vocals, armed with witty lyrics and great chemistry, they were awarded with Canada’s Factor demo grant for Original Work and recorded an EP, with their original songs such as “Meat and Potatoes”, “I Wanna Get You Drunk” and “Pull You Up”.
They performed in many Toronto music venues together and also played the prestigious 2013 TOURtech party in Halifax. Though the band has unfortunately dissolved, Steffi D and Chad Doucette are still the two perfect ingredients that aren’t just Good Together… They're great.
